B2D Sales Account Executive Enterprise: AI/Software Development – Hybrid – NYC Metro

We are engaged in a search for a Sales Account Executive on behalf of our client, a pioneering AI company specializing in cutting-edge deep learning platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in AI/Deep learning platforms or technology-centric software development sales, and a track record of successfully closing enterprise deals.

Role Overview: As a Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in our company’s growth strategy. Your mission will be to build relationships with potential clients and turn prospects into loyal customers. You will possess the capability to engage in both technical and business conversations across multiple organization levels, from CTOs and VPs of Engineering to Data Scientists and ML Engineers. Your passion for our product and domain will be evident as you communicate our value proposition. Using your analytical skills, you will show clients the advantages of partnering with us. You thrive in an agile environment and value global collaboration, consistently seeking ways to elevate the business.

Position Specifics:

  • Hybrid role. 2-3 times/week in the office, flexible working hours.
  • Operates on US Eastern Time.
  • Collaborate with a global team, strongly rooted in Israel’s dynamic hi-tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle for new business opportunities, from introductions to deal closures.
  • Partner with leadership to create and hone sales structures in our rapidly growing startup, including sales strategies, playbooks, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to pinpoint profitable go-to-market opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineer teams to ensure the success of pilot programs during the sales process.
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure client satisfaction, driving renewals and expansions for our existing clientele.
  • Engage actively with the SDR team to secure high-quality sales appointments.
  • Independently seek out leads to open up new sales opportunities.
  • Build a strong rapport with the Marketing department, focusing on generating MQLs and high-conversion inbound leads.
  • Represent our company at both virtual and in-person industry events and exhibitions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Executive or an Individual Contributor within an AI/Deep Learning platform or software development environment. Sales Engineers looking to transition into a pure sales role are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to technically proficient audiences.
  • A methodical approach, complemented by the ability to quickly assimilate and leverage new information.
  • An avid learner with a keen interest in AI products and the revolutionary potential of technology.
  • A start-up mentality.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical background, either through hands-on experience or academic study, preferably in computer science or data science.
  • Experience as a Sales Account Executive in a B2D (Business to Developer) setting.
