  • Use bullet points with measurable results.
  • Avoid overly general phrases like “dynamic,” “motivated,” or “team player.”
  • Always tailor the resume to the specific role.
  • Include a short, clear summary at the top.

💣 Common Mistakes Israelis Make:

  • Overusing buzzwords instead of showing impact.
  • Listing every job instead of highlighting relevant ones.
  • Not aligning with U.S. cultural expectations (e.g., tone, modesty vs. self-promotion).
  • Assuming English = good fit. Language is only one part of the story.
