We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the dynamic HR team in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, source top talent, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple positions across various organizational departments and levels. In this role, you will be entrusted with managing confidential and sensitive information, requiring a strong commitment to data protection and privacy.

Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing, conducting phone screening for candidate and new employee orientation.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Interview Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and timely follow-ups.
Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent.
- Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other networking opportunities to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local universities, colleges, and professional organizations.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Generate recruitment reports and analytics to track key metrics and improve the hiring process.
- Stay informed about market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies to align with business needs.
- Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the Central Valley, California area or similar markets.
- Proven ability to source and attract top talent across various roles and industries.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including diversity and inclusion strategies.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in recruitment within AgTech, Technology or Agriculture
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
